bulletin from David Smith from myspace:
Hi Everyone
We just found out that we have been kicked out of the cup for fielding two players who weren't on our roster on Friday night.
We won the game 3-1, and it was a great game, but the other teams manager has done some snooping and found that we did play two players that we hadn't registered. This was an oversight on our behalf, and we can only wish Matador FC good luck in the next round of the cup.
I feel that we have had a great season in the LA Premier League, and we really wanted to go out and do the league and cup double for the chairman and for the loyal Vale players and fans. So many ups and downs this year, but mostly ups :)
I wonder how many unregistered players played against us this year??? definitely more than 2...wait, thats just me being bitter. I'm dissapointed with this, as the last few games has seen a completely new dynamic from LA Vale, a team now filled with love and respect, as well as immense skill, where we cheer each other on, give each other positive feedback, make each other feel great about being part of this organization, an organization that I am stupendously proud to be with. I have found in the last few weeks, good friends, great players, all in all, good people.
We have one more game left in the Super Metro, a league where we are still unbeaten...
thanks for tuning in...
